U.S. Marshals Service Precious Metal SEALED BID Auction
Preview will be conducted in Texas by appointment only, Tuesday, May 27th through Thursday, May 29th.

There is not a buyer's premium on this auction.
To preview and bid you must submit the registration form and a $100,000 refundable deposit by bank wire only. Registration will be open through Wednesday, June 4, 2025, 4:00 CDT. All registrants will be required to submit a valid state or government issued photo ID, signed registration/ bid form agreeing to the sale terms and conditions and the U.S. Marshals Buyers Certification form.
The inventory will be offered in 4 separate ways: individual lots and bulk lots. Bids will only be considered if they are above 96% of the current market value.
Bids Due & Opening: Thursday, June 5, 2025, by 4:15 P.M. Central Time
Following the bid opening, the United States Marshals Service will review and accept or reject the bid. All bidders will be notified no later than 5:00 P.M. CDT.
Use of the Auction Site and Bid Submittal marks your full and final acceptance of all Terms and Conditions. The U.S. Marshals Service retains the right to reject any bids for any reason or to make counter offers or accept back up offers at their sole discretion.
Bidder Notice: All prospective bidders should be aware that in order to ensure compliance with the Crime Control Act that they may be subject to a background check. Title 18 USC Section 1963(g) and 21 USC Section 853(h) of the Comprehensive Crime Control Act of 1984, prohibits the United States Government from reverting forfeited property to the defendant(s) convicted of violation under 18 USC Section 1962 nor 21 USC Section 841 et seq., or any person acting in concert with or on behalf of such defendant(s). To ensure compliance with the prohibition, you are required to certify that you are not acting and will not act in concert with or on behalf of the defendant(s) in this case upon the satisfaction of your purchase. Upon receipt of your certification, as set forth below, a records check will be made with the investigative agencies involved in the prosecution of the said case to confirm your submitted certification. In the event your certification cannot be confirmed, the purchase shall be immediately dissolved, and further criminal action taken.

Everything sells “As Is – Where Is” with no warranties or guarantees expressed or implied. Bidders are responsible for making a determination as to the condition and value of the items from inspection prior to bidding. No oral statements by any employee of Gaston & Sheehan should be taken as any warranty, expressed or implied. Inability to observe defects or deficiencies in a lot through inspection is a risk inherent in the auction process and will not be the basis for any refund or adjustment in the sales price. Failure to view/inspect any property for sale shall not constitute cause of cancellation of sale.
By submitting a bid, you are entering into a legally binding contract and agree to follow through with the purchase of the item should you win the item. Bidder expressly agrees not to stop payment, dispute, or contest this transaction. The Description of the Assets Set Forth in the Documents Accompanying Each Bid Package or Lot is Believed to be Correct, but Any Error or Omission Will Not Constitute Grounds or Reason for Non-Performance of the Contract of Sale, or Claim by Purchaser for Allowance, Refund, or Deduction from the Purchase Price. FAILURE TO PAY FOR ITEMS WILL RESULT IN DENIAL FROM PARTICIPATION IN ANY FUTURE U.S. MARSHALS SERVICE AUCTIONS AND FORFEITURE OF DEPOSIT.
Payment: Bank Wire is the only acceptable form of payment.
At least ten percent (10%) of the bid price is due by Friday, June 6, 2025. FULL payment must be received no later than Thursday, June 12, 2025.
Seller shall retain full security interest in all merchandise until full and complete payment is made to Gaston & Sheehan Auctioneers.
Deposits for unsuccessful bidders will be refunded on Friday, June 6, 2025.
There is not a buyer's premium on this auction and State sales tax is not applicable on this auction.
All assets must be removed no later than Wednesday, June 18th, 4:00 P.M. CDT. Shipping/ transportation of the assets is the buyer’s responsibility. Gaston & Sheehan can provide a list of suggested carriers.
Following the bid opening, the United States Marshals Service will review and accept or reject the bid. All bidders will be notified no later than 5:00 P.M. CDT.
